Katherine Wahlberg is an attorney and shareholder with the firm, focusing her practice on the representation of clients in all aspects of real estate litigation and transactions, as well as commercial and business matters. Katie’s practice emphasizes representation of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate and providing assistance with matters such as title disputes; boundary and survey disputes; easements, right of way and access issues; deed and contract preparation; mechanic’s lien disputes; representation in administrative proceedings for licensed professionals; and Torrens proceedings subsequent and registration proceedings.

As a former in-house claims counsel with regional and national responsibilities, Katie has extensive experience in handling title and escrow claims which assists title insurers and title agencies in meeting legal challenges. Her experience extends from curative actions and lien priority defense to coverage, as well as providing policy coverage opinions and coverage defense representation. Katie’s experience working with title companies, developers, surveyors, appraisers, abstractors, examiners, and other real estate professionals allows her to identify, evaluate, and strategize on resolving real estate matters, with and without litigation.

In addition to representing individual clients, Katie Wahlberg can also serve as a neutral mediator for parties who find themselves faced with real estate or other legal disputes.  Katie is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of Practice.  Her extensive real estate background and mediation experience has given her personal insight into resolving a variety of real estate and other disputes
